FAIRYTALE FOREST MURAL
Darren and Leslie had just purchased a new house and their 4 year old, Emery, was a little sad and anxious about leaving her old room. While the kids and Mama were on vacation and Darren was unpacking, Leslie had me come in and work my magic on her daughters new room. Her daughter got to pick out the pink walls, so she was expecting that, but we also decided to surprise her with an “enchanted forest at the foot of her bed.”
The room was long. Leslie wanted the mural on the short wall to make it look like you could just keep walking. She gave me example pictures of the style they liked and what they were looking for. Flowers, forest, castle in the distance. Upon request from Emery herself, I added a princess carriage.
I’m still planning on adding fairies dancing on the flowers, and to touch up the trees and grass, but the mural was finished enough to snap a pic and hop on a plane to my next mural project!
Emery was ecstatic with the end result, and LOVES her new room.
Every night she lays on the floor and says good night to Tinkerbell who is currently lightly sketched in in pencil under a leaf. What a truly beautiful princess she is, and now has her very own princess room to match!
